But hold your breath yonder, we all know that all the internet browsers released by the big M since Windows 95 are always considered the best there is. Let's cut the crap, the reality is that a lot of peeps hate internet browsers released by Bill Gates and friends. With the release of Windows 10, their Microsoft Edge has become even crappier than their old Microsoft Internet Explorers! I can be wrong, who knows?


Let's Set Our Favorite Browser Then

The mere fact that you are reading this article may mean that you wanted your Windows 10's default Microsoft Edge replaced. Well, no need to look for other sites as you're in the right place. Here's how it is done:
  1. Click on your Windows 10 START button, then click on the "BURGER" icon (three horizontal lines) on the upper left corner of the START menu.



  2. Click on Settings.



  3. Choose System from Windows Settings.



  4. Once you're in Settings, click on where it says "Default apps". A few scroll and you should see Microsoft Edge under Web browser.



  5. Click on this Microsoft Edge, you will see a popup that will display other available web browsers installed in your computer.





  6. Your Windows 10 may display some kind of message that goes this way: "Before you switch" and followed by "Try Microsoft Edge - it's new, it's fast, and it's built for Windows 10". You will have two options from here - Check it out and Switch anyway. Just click on Switch anyway.



  7. After you click on the Switch anyway option, Microsoft Edge will no longer be your default web browser.
