The mere fact that you are reading this article may mean that you wanted your Windows 10's default Microsoft Edge replaced. Well, no need to look for other sites as you're in the right place. Here's how it is done:
  1. Click on your Windows 10 START button, then click on the "BURGER" icon (three horizontal lines) on the upper left corner of the START menu.

  2. Click on Settings.

  3. Choose System from Windows Settings.

  4. Once you're in Settings, click on where it says "Default apps". A few scroll and you should see Microsoft Edge under Web browser.

  5. Click on this Microsoft Edge, you will see a popup that will display other available web browsers installed in your computer.

  6. Your Windows 10 may display some kind of message that goes this way: "Before you switch" and followed by "Try Microsoft Edge - it's new, it's fast, and it's built for Windows 10". You will have two options from here - Check it out and Switch anyway. Just click on Switch anyway.

  7. After you click on the Switch anyway option, Microsoft Edge will no longer be your default web browser.
